Open Studio
First explore the Museum yourself and then head for the studio – or the other way round? Every first Sunday of the month, our studio is open to anyone who before or after touring the Museum wishes to be creative, explore things, or experiment. The studio is run by two art educationalists who are at hand with support and advice and the one or other surprise.
Date: on the first Sunday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Kunstmuseum makes room for you and adapts to you. Browse through our pop–up libraries, settle in to read or get creative – alone or with others. There are always new offers popping up in different places in the museum so that you can explore the museum at your own pace. Come by to linger and discover. Every first Sunday of the month. Participation free of charge, without registration.

Open atelier: My dream of flying
Float with the clouds for once? If not only tiny insects can fly, but also magnificent birds of prey or even entire helicopters - then we must be able to do it too, right? Together we draw, paint and build everything that flies or wants to fly. We grow wings, come up with new designs to take off and look at the world from above. Open to everyone. Participation free of charge

Offenes Studio Gegenwart
Life by the river Together we will think about everyday life on the Rhine: the people, animals, plants, stones and everything else we encounter. What stories do the river and its banks tell us? What is the relationship between nature and culture around the Rhine? We will give form to our findings, reflections and impressions through paintings, drawings and frottages - outdoors if the weather is fine. Open to all. Participation free of charge.
