Family Day 2023

Sunday, November 5, 2023, 10–5 p.m.

Hauptbau and Neubau
Free participation from 0 years old

We would like to kindly inform you that strollers are unfortunately not allowed in the museum. You can park your strollers in the courtyard of Hauptbau (supervised parking).

On Family Day, the museum transforms into a huge studio where you can bring your artistic ideas to life. Paint to music, mix your own colors, or be enchanted at the Story Kiosk. Additionally, you can have yourself and your loved ones drawn at our portrait stations or browse in our reading corner.

Admission to the museum is free, except for the special exhibition "Matisse, Derain and Friends". All Family Day activities are also free.

Family Day is generously supported by the Friends of the Kunstmuseum Basel and the company Holle.
