Works from the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation are integrated in the museum collections and permanently on view to the public both at the Museum for Contemporary Art and at the Kunstmuseum Basel; they have figured in the Schaulager since 2003. Over the years the Foundation has consistently acquired significant works, or entire work groups, by international artists; these are now being shown, some for the first time, at the Museum for Contemporary Art. An exemplary selection of works are being exhibited with the focus on installations, video projections and photographic works. The exhibition highlights the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation exemplary, long-term commitment to contemporary art.
